What Does Tingling Sensation In The Fingers Indicate?

I started having tingling in my small finger and the finger next to it on my left hand today, I am a type 2 diabetic, but i have also had to increase my b12 in the past. could this be a b12 deficiency problem, or possibly a sign of something bigger?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It could be something called peripheral neuropathy. Uncontrolled diabetes can weaken your nerves and can cause tingling. Vitamin B 12 deficiency can also cause these symptoms. As of now take vitamin B supplements like Neurobion Forte. Make sure that your diabetes is well controlled.
If symptoms persist, consult a neurologist and get evaluated. You might require a nerve conduction study for further evaluation.

Wishing you good health.
Thanks
