Hi, i was told by my doctor to carry out a urine analysis two weeks ago because i complained of mild pain at the tip of my penis when i urinate. this does not happen all the time but usually in the morning and evening hours. The urine analysis came back with the following result: colour-yellow; aspect- slightly turbid; reaction-acidic; specific gravity-1020. the chemical examination came out all nil with only urobilinogen given a normal trace. microscopic exam shows: pus cells- 12-15/HPF; RBC 2-4/HPF. others are nil. About a week later he asked me to do a urine culture because he suspected i have an STD. The urine cultre result is as follows: pus cells - 15-20/HPF; RBC's 2-3/HPF; FUNGI AND MUCUS are NIL; Organism shows: no aerobic growth after 48hours incubation. I have not seen the doctor yet but want to get an independed interpretation before i see him.
