What Does This Ultrasound Report Signify?

Good afternoon Doctor...!! This is soundhar from tamilnadu, india. my father Mr.Thirumoorthy 60\M. who met urologist yesterday and he was done blood test, ULTRASOUND SCAN OF K.U.B. (his problem is : He was fall down from the coconut tree at the age of 35. The Bone was pressed the urine bladder, so some times he passed little drops urine without his knowledge, he has this problem for last 10 years itself. now it is little bit increased it seems. ) Blood Test Result is Normal. ULTRASOUND SCAN OF K.U.B. Result shows: The Right Kidney measures 11.0 x 5.8 cm. The cortical thickness is 1.1 cm. The left kidney measures 10.1 x 5.0 cm. The cortical thickness is 0.9 cm. Moderate pelvicalyceal dilatation noted on the right side suggestive of right hydronephrosis. Right ureter is not visualised. No evidence of any calculi. A small calculus measuring is 7.5 mm is noted in upper pole of left kidney. no evidence of caliceal dilatation in the left side. Both the kidneys show normal parenchymal echoes. A simple cortical cyst measuring is 1.3 x 1.2 cm, noted in interpole of left kidney. The bladder wall appears thickened, irregular with multiple trabeculations, sacculations and small diverticuli. Prevoid - 668 cc. Post void - 462 cc Significant post void residual urine noted. Prostate is enlarged size and measures 5.3 x 4.4 x 4.0 cm, volume - 50 cc, and shows normal echoes. IMPRESSION: Right hydronephrosis - ? PUJ obstruction. Left renal calculus. Left renal cortical cyst. So please tell me what is the solution ?

i would suggest you consider visiting a urologist. it seems like due to enlarged prostates he cannot void his bladder fully, the urine remains in his bladder and in turn causes back pressure onto the kidneys leading to hydronephrosis. with a prostate surgery improvement will be seen
