What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

6wks ago I had an ultrasound because I have been experiencing severe pelvic pain. The ultrasound revealed I had a 3.9cm complex ovarian cyst. They recommended I have a follow up ultrasound in 6wks. Well I had the 6wk follow up ultrasound and now it shows it is now 4.6 cm now. I have and iud and I m also on oral birth control pills. I also have endometriosis. Should I ask my doctor to order a CA-125. I also have another cyst on the same ovary that has also increased in size. Should I be concerned

Hello,

I am glad to see that you are conscious about your health. Yes, I agree with you, any cyst that increases in size should be evaluated, next logical step is getting a CA 125. If the CA 125 is elevated, then imaging like PETCT should be considered.
