What Does This Test Results Of Creatinine And EGFR Indicate?

My husband has a creatinine serum of 1.28 (just slightly over range) and eGFR of 60 (non african american and considered normal I think). He had a test 2 months ago and the results for these 2 markers were the same. However, three months ago he had a eGFR of 57 and creatinine of 1.33. Does he have CKD?

Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I am Dr.Snis Khan,

I have read your question in detail and will try to help you in the best way possible.
As u mentioned the serum creatinine and gfr levels these test shows us about renal function.as u said these two were in normal ranges according to that laboratory ranges so no need to worry about any danger of CKD.anyhow I suggest you to rewise again these blood tests; blood urea, serum creatinine levels and blood cp whenever you get free time from a standard laboratory... Hope see you here after the report.

I hope this answered all your queries, if you have more queries,I will be happy to answer.

Wish you the best of health.

Regards.

Dr.Snis Khan
