What Does This Blood Test Report Indicate?

Dear Sir, My daughter age 4months has motions 5-8 every day since three weeks unlike before once in two days. Refered to two doctors because little improvement in ten days for each one with their medication due to stool and blood tests was normal. After three weeks visited another doctor ( by grand parents) and he recommend for another sample test. This time WBC is 16,400 cumm with lympocytes 67%. Also C-RP is 8.16mg%. Kindly advise for the test result, please. Thanks & Best Regards,

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. As suggested by the reports, it seems your daughter has an infection as the WBC counts are raised. CRP is the marker of inflamation in the body. Its normal range is less than 10 milligrams per liter (mg/L). Your daughter might have an infection of the intestine as she has diarrhoea. I would suggest to start with appropriate antibiotics and lactobacillus sachet 2 times a day. Give oral rehydrating solution in small sips as well through out the day. Hope this helps. Thanks and Regards.
