What Does This Blood Sugar Test Report Signify?

hi I am a type 2 diabetic and i applied for a job.the doctor said i must do a hb1a bloodsuger test.it came back at 6.9mml/L and now the site doctor declined me because of my bloodsuger. i test myself every morining and the lowest my suger was was 4.5 and highest was 7.2 over a period of many months.when i was first diagnosed with bloodsuger my gp freeked because it was 25.so 6.9 over 12 weeks is dangerous to my health or not and what should the hb1a result be

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

HbA1c is a lab test that shows the average level of blood sugar (glucose) over the previous 3 months. It shows how well you are controlling your diabetes.
For a diabetic, the goal is to keep your level at or below 6.5 - 7%.

In general, the higher your HbA1c, the higher the risk that you will develop problems such as: Eye disease, Heart disease, Kidney disease, Nerve damage
Stroke.

If your HbA1c stays high for a long period of time, the risk for these problems is even greater.

You should have your level tested every 3 or 6 months.
