Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. When a patient is overweight or obese the liver of that person can be filled with fats as that person has increased fats on all over the body. Fatty infiltration is just like increase in fats in somebody liver and scan will show increase echogenicity due to fatty infiltration. In this case you should have to loose weight not too rapidly that`s how you will get relieved of this.

Eat High fibre diet, green leafy vegetables, fruit.
Cut down the processed food. White bread, doughnuts, white sugar, pizza should be completely avoided.
A 40 minute physical activity every day like morning walk, evening walk or a visit to the gym or swimming pool.
Start on these changes and get back to me in 2 to 3 months. Wish you good health.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to answer your questions.
