What Does This MRI Test Result For Back Pain Indicate?

I am 33 year old. I am suffering with back pain from last 10 month during lifting weight. I have mri report last month with impression of Disc dessication with protrusion and posterior annual tear at l-3,l-4 and l-4,l-5 causing ventral thecal sac indentation with bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at both levels. Will u please explain about it with its treatment?

Hi,

You have seen degree of disc herniation. If you do not have muscular atrophy or severe sensory problems, physical therapy is the way to go. Otherwise it is surgery.
