I had an MRI of my brain last week to see if my metastic breast cancer had spread. Thankfully, it had not but I do not understand what the report means. My oncologist only mentioned that there was no cancer. Could you please put these medicaleese words into English please? “ Cortical involutional changes greater than expected for the patient’s age ( 62 & 1/2) with prominence of the cortical sulci. There is stable appearing moderate bihemispheric subcortical and periventricular white matter microvascular disease when compared with the Dec. 29, 2015 MRI examination.
