General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thickening in the uterus may happen due to hormonal disbalances (too much estrogen, compared to progesterone). In some cases, it may be a more important diagnosis such as endometrial hypertrophy or endometrial carcinoma.

It is important that the doctor does the regular checks and follow-ups to determine the cause and the proper treatment.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
