Hi,

RBC that is red blood cells occur due to UTI itself due to resultant inflammation in the urinary tract.
Surely, you need to get started on an antibiotic.
If you have not yet started the antibiotic then the best way is to send the urine for culture and sensitivity report. This will give better results as to the organism responsible for UTI and also give the antibiotics that will best for the cure.
You can then take this medicine for 21-2 weeks under the prescription.
of your treating Doctor.
Also needed is to take plenty of oral fluids.
Urinary alkalinizer.
Get the Blood tests for CBC, urea and creatinine.
Ultrasonography of abdomen particularly for urogenital system, any further investigations if needed as per the preliminary reports and proper further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant, General Surgeon
