What Does The Ultrasound Report Indicate?

My wife had ultrasound today and after the ultrasound do tor said she is having a very small sac and the baby dont have any heartbeat... Now doctor has advised my wife to take tablet for next one week and come back..... And my wife is 1 month pregnant

Hi,
I understand your concern.
At 4 weeks pregnancy, no diagnostic picture of early pregnancy is visible in USG abdomen,IN %th week, only gestational sac can be observed by Transvaginal probe. While heart beats are visible by 6.5-7 weeks by transvaginal probe & 8-10 days later by abdominal probe.
So you need not worry. Proceed with the treatment advised & get a repeat sacn done.
