Plz doctor kindly review my semen analysis report as below and tell me is there any serious issue which is preventing pregnancy and is there any treatment for that problem ? Report: Quantity = 2.0 ml. Color = Gryish White Transperancy = Opaque Viscosity = Viscous Time of Liqufication 30 Min pH = 7.5 Fructose = Positive (Sperm Counts) Total Count = 80 Mill/Ml Live Count = 30 Mill/Ml Sperm per Ejaculate 160 Mil (Motility) Percentage Motile Sperm = 38% Rapid Linear Progression = 03% Slow/Non Lin Progression = 50% Non Progressive = 47% (Sperm Morphology) Normal Form = 5% (Head Abnormality) Small Oval = 30% Tapering = 20% AMORPHOUS = 40% PIN = 5% (Mid Piece Abnormalities) (Other Cells) WBC S = 2 RBC S = 2
Your report suggest borderline sperm motility and excessive abnormal morphology sperms. Motility should be at least 55 %. At least 16 % sperms should have normal morphology for natural fertilization.You have only 5 % normal forms sperms.
You may also need culture sensitivity(C/S) of semen.C/S is needed due to presence of few WBC and RBC in semen.It is important to exclude infection.
You should take nutritious food and do exercise.
Rest of the findings like sperm count,viscosity,colour etc are normal.
If infertility persists then assisted fertilization techniques like IUI can be considered.
