What Does The Following Pelvic Scan Report Indicate?
Hi doctor, good eve, I took a pelvic scan today as Iam married 4 months before Iam trying to conceive, Iam aware that I already having pics so to check I took a pelvic scan today under doctor advice and in the report it showing as Bilateral peripheral follicles with thick echogenic stroma? What does that mean?
Both ovaries show peripheral placed tiny cystic follicles with echogenic stroma - likely to represent polycystic morphology and needs further evaluation. PCOD is a prominent cause of infertility. Visit your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
