What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?
I am. 26 year old female and my MRI came back as saying Impression: 1. No evidence of acute infra ration, focal mass, or intracranial hemmorrhage. 2. Few foci of white matter T 2 prolongation in the frontal lobes are nonspecific. Differential etiology was include migraine, gliosis of unknown etiology, and less likely chronic microbes update ischemic disease. The pattern is not typical for demyelinatimg disease. My materinal grandmother had a stroke with a history of low blood pressure. I have a history of migraines, low blood pressure, lymes disease in 2015 and a gastric bypass in 2012.

MRI brain report suggests few foci of non-specific white matter lesions in frontal lobes and no evidence of hemorrhage or infarct or focal mass. Neurologic involvement (subtle encephalopathy-the most common form) in Lyme disease may become apparent from months to several years after the onset of infection (Lyme disease in 2015). Lesions are not suggestive of demyelinating disease (like multiple sclerosis or acute demyelinating encephalopathy/ADEM). Hence, Lyme disease sequelae are most likely.
