Hello,

A single bruise is generally not a source of concern. Many times, even though patients do not remember to have injured themselves they may have bruises from minor trauma that they do not recall.

So, in your case, if you have only one bruise and no other bruises show up, and you do not have easy bleeding gums or other bleeding signs (blood with urine, stools, or heavy periods, non-blanching skin rash, etc), then you do not need to worry.

If you have other bruises coming up and you have signs of bleeding elsewhere in your body, you will need to see your doctor and have some tests to identify the cause of the bruises.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
