What Does The MRI Report Regarding Back Pain Indicate?

1. I am pradeep I have back pain and MRI report given that central &bilateral paracentral disc herniatiom at l5-s1 level causing thecal &rootcompression2. Right paracentral & central disc herniatiom at l4-l5 level causing thecal & root compression3.spinal canal &neural foraminal stenosis at l4-l5 & l5-s1 disc level and doctor suggested to have the surgery give me the suggestion whether to take surgery or not

Thanks for posting your query.

Your MRI report says that the inter vertebral disc ( a disc like structure between the spinal bones ) has gone out of its place ( herniation) and it is compressing the nerves near the back region. ( Normally nerves emerge out of spine region )

Now whether you need surgery or not depends on the severity of problem . If you are in extreme pain or having weakness in legs or having problems in passing urine or motions then its an indication for surgery.
