Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
stopped smoking 3 weeks ago (cold turkey!) I had HBP and was on BP med. I have been checking BP and it seems to be too low to take any medication. 134/68 right now. I will see my doctor next month but I am curious if I still need to take BP meds at this time. so sorry I did not know this was a pay to play site. I will use common sense to deal with my issue.
hello and welcome to health care magic. your blood pressure right now doesnot warrant medicines. you can cut on your salt, do excercise for 30 min daily , eat some fresh fruits and veggies daily, and already tou have stopped smoking which will keep your BP in check .
