Chest Xray shows bronchovascular markings are mildly prominent, especially in the right infrahilar region. In Dec I inhaled smoke from a nieghbor s fire that was very toxic. It also shows subsegmental atelectasis adjacent to the left heart border. what does this mean

The bronchovascular markings were only mildly prominent. Prominent markings occurs as a result of inflammation to the lungs, commonly due to infection though there are other causes.
Atelectasis refers to collapse of an area of the lung and in your report it suggests that there is collapse of a small area in the left lung. There are different possible causes.
