What Does Sharp Pain Around The Navel Indicate?

my 15 year old daughter has been complaining of sharp pain around her belly button since Monday periodically and they last from 2-5 minutes. She describes it as being stabbed. Some thoughts: She started on the pill 3 months ago and has not had a period. I had a septum uterus and had to have surgery to make one uterus to carry her When she was born she had a herniated belly button that eventually went in at age 6.
