What Does Ribbon Shaped Stool Indicate?
my 4 year old daughter was constipated and since than we gave her benefiber and mineral oil for 4 days and now she is going everyday, but has ribbon shaped stools as of 1 week after the constipation. No blood on it. They are are of good caliber but are ribboned.

If there is no pain while passing stools and child is passing stools regularly then presence of ribbon shaped stools is not significant.
