What Does Reddish Brown Vaginal Discharge After Intercourse Indicate?

Help meeeee... I had 2 times coitus interuptus activitiees on: 6 november (took postinor within one hour) 13 november(no postinor) Last period was on 18 october. On 17 november i started to had red and brownish flex discharge along with very light bleeding which can only be seen when i pee. The blood flow got heavier with on the 2nd and 3rd day but it was still rather light compare to my normal period flow. (On the 2nd day there was 1 small tissue discharge which my normal period doesnt have) this light period has lasted for 5 days so far in which the 4th and 5th day only contains very little blood where can only be seen when i pee.(just like the very first day 17 nov) My period is usually welcomed by stomach cramp and breast soreness but this time i feel no above symtomps at all. My question is: It this a sign of pregnancy or just an odd period or withdrawal bleeding? Whats with the tissue discharge? Help meeeee....

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The best and safer way to know if you are pregnant or not, especially if your periods are not as usual, is to have a pregnancy test. If it comes out negative you can repeat the test in 3-4 days with the first urine in the morning to increase the accuracy.

If it comes out negative again then it is very likely you are not pregnant and it is just an irregular period. If you have not had a pap smear the last 1-2 years it might be recommended to have one as a routine check.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
