What Does Rapid Heart Rate With Breathing Issues & Bloody Cough Suggest?

yesterday i rode a bike to my friends house, and right when i got there, i started to see all white and my heart started pounding and i couldnt breathe and my body started shaking and when i got home it happened again but then i coughed up blood, what does this mean?

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to pulmonary embolism or cardiac arrhythmia. For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG and cardiac enzymes
- a chest X ray study and D Dimmer levels for pulmonary embolism
- blood electrolytes for possible electrolyte imbalances

A chest angio CT scan may be needed in order to investigate for pulmonary embolism.
