What Does "right Ovary Appear Closely Adherent To The Lateral Margin Of The Fundus" Mean?

i had an ultrasound which showed that my right ovary appear closely adherent to the lateral margin of the fundus and immobile on pelvic palpation which may represent pelvic adhesion and my uterus is retroverted and echo texture what does all this mean please?

Thanks for your question on HCM. Normally ovaries are mobile on palpation and not adherent with the uterus. But in Pelvic inflammatory Disease (PID) due to chronic infection Ovaries are attached to uterus and form adhesions. So you may have PID in past and as a result of that you are now having adhesions. About retroverted uterus, no need to worry. It is just a positional anomaly and it is harmless and seen commonly. So consult your gynecologist and discuss these things.
