What Does "cardiomediastinal Silouette Is Not Enlarged" Mean?

What does it mean when your chest X-rays read cardiomediastinal silouette is not enlarged . Elavation of the lung fields is slightly limited due to low lung volumes. There is a steaky opacity silouetting the right heart border, suggesting atelectasis versus early infiltrate the right middle lobe.

Thanks for writing to HCM

Cardiomediastinal silhouette is not enlarged,it means heart and mediastinal shadows are normal and not enlarged in size.
There is slightly elevated lung fields and it is due to low volume lungs.
There is a streaky opacity in contact with the right heart border and it may be due to atelectasis(collapsed part of lung parenchyma) or may be due to infection.This need clinical correlation.
