Hello, I'm 25 years of age. I had my sex-hormones checked (as I am not getting my period for over a year) and got such results: LH-1,55 and FSH-6,35. Could you please explain, what do these results mean? Am I going to have difficulties conceiving? May I help my body by improving my diet? Thank you very much.

Hi, The hormone levels appear to be normal. As you are not getting periods, it is difficult to identify any cause. A period of one year is a big time, and more details like weight, clinical findings are necessary and more laboratory investigations like ultrasound, imaging and any other hormonal studies, eg: Thyroid are important to identify any cause. If you get back with more details, I can try to help you. Any further queries, happy to help again. Dr. Jyothi BL
