What Does Purple Discoloration On The Toes Indicate?
I was walking this morning and when I took my shoe and sock off my toe (about 2 inches in length from mid toe to my foot) was purplish red. I didn t hurt myself and the area doesn t hurt. It s really weird. Should I be concerned? I look up on Web md. and it could be a hematoma(?).

It might be due to minor contusion. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself without any definite treatment. As of now apply ice packs for symptomatic relief.
