Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

What was the serum cholesterol and serum albumin reports? What is his blood pressure? This seems like a case of nephrotic syndrome with nephritic features (as urine contains some blood also). Such cases are better evaluated with biopsy, especially when we are starting drugs like Pangraf. But nephrologists vary among their practice. Kidney function is normal now, but we have to monitor frequently, as there is chance of hypertension and renal insufficiency.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
