What Does Pain In The Legs Along With Constipation Indicate?

I was diagnosed with herniated disc L5s1 more than a year ago. Pain going down left leg into foot. After an epidural pain subsides for a few months. Now, pain is more intense, going down right leg into foot. At times shooting in left knee with extreme pain on right side. I ve also experienced chronic constipation for the last 5 months. Are all symptoms related to my spinal injury?

General Surgeon 's  Response
In all probability, all your discomfort of lower limb pain, and even constipation could be related to the herniated disc at L5 S1. This is bet removed by minimal access surgery to relieve you of the pain.
