What Does My X-ray Suggest?

Hi Doctor. I had my pre-employment medical exam last week and the findings on my chest x-ray said: suspicious densities left upper lung. I was told to repeat it - apicolordotic view. And i had it yesterday. Results will be on Thursday. What does that mean? Will it affect my employment? This would be my first real job and I very much want it but I am worried what the findings will be. I have no history of whatsoever before. Thanks very much for your help!

Hello

There is suspicious densities left upper lung,so you are advised apicolordotic view.
Apicolordotic view is a special view of chest X-ray to visualize apical region of lungs.
This view is necessary because apical region is covered by bony ribs, clavicle etc.Normal chest X-ray (PA)can miss the findings,so you are advised for this view.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Take Care
