What Does My Tuberculosis Test Report Indicate?

Hi My husband went for tuberculosis test in Delhi as he is applying for his settlement visa in uk. The report shows everything is normal but in the third line it says that soft tissue opacity seen in the right paratracheal region and the there is a question mark as they said they are not sure about it and after the question mark they have written lymphadenopathy. I am getting really worried now for my husband. They told him to go for three days in a lab for further test. Is this something serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I have gone through the chest x ray report of your husband which is suspicious of tuberculosis of the lung on the right side.

I would advise him to take an additional chest x ray with apicolordotic view and other lab tests such as Mantoux test, CBC, ESR, Sputum for acid fast bacilli to confirm tuberculosis.

Hope I could answer your query.
Best wishes.
