General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the information provided in your stool analysis test report, the overall appearance of the stool is brown, semi-formed in consistency, and without any unusual odors. No visible signs of blood, fat, mucus, or worms were found. The pH of the stool is slightly alkaline at 8.

Microscopic examination revealed a low number of vegetable cells, starch, muscle fibers, and fat, indicating that it is well-digested. A few red blood cells were found (6-7 per high-power field), which is considered normal. No abnormal cells, such as pus or epithelial cells, or parasites, such as protozoa or helminths, were found. The report suggests that the person has normal digestion and no infection or infestation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

General & Family Physician Dr. Satnarain Bansal's  Response
Hi,

In my opinion, all your report of stool examination seems normal except for RBC count. Normally, there should not be any RBC in the stools. Therefore, presence of RBC's in stool, however small, should be investigated properly for the cause of bleeding and treated accordingly.

Any inflammatory intestinal condition, neoplasia of digestive tract (Benign or malignant), condition of hemorrhoid, polyps etc. may give rise to RBC's in stool which need a proper investigation & treatment accordingly, if needed.

Also, some times, presence of parasites etc. can not be ruled out just with one sample being negative, rather at least periodic 3 samples being negative, may be labeled as negative for parasites.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
