What Does My Sonography Test Report Indicate?

Hi my friend has gone through sonography today and she found her right over size is 20 and left 10.. Please suggest me what to do..doctors are saying that they cannot start her treatment untilll her periods finished..is it true? Plz suggest me with best treatment.. thanks in advance

Thanks for posting your query.

Clearly there is a significant discrepancy between her ovary size.

It could be due to infection, tuberculosis, cyst or tumours. It has to be evaluated and found out what is the cause . Only then treatment can be initiated.

I recommend an MRI scan which gives more details on her ovaries and helps in the diagnosis. If MRI report comes inconclusive then she may requires Laparoscopic examination of her ovaries.
