What Does My Lab Test Result Indicate?

hi doctor my age 34 and my weight 133 pounds and my height 5.1 . my question was about my uterus side. my WR US PELVIS/TRANSABDOMINAL repot says midline fibroid measuring 22*18*21 mm. left sided fibroid measuring 20*15*15 mm. and right posterior fibroid measuring 19*14*16 mm. is it sereious thing? present my problem was feeling heavy obdomine.

Hi thanks for your question.

You have 3 fibroids with not much larger size.

If it is asymptomatic then not need of removal.usually fibroid is because of hormonal influence estrogen.With advancing age after menopause it can be regressed. But if fibroid very much increasing in size with showing secondary symptom that affect bowel movement, urinary problems etc..then it is removed.

If fibroid with time showing secondary changes like hemorrhage then removed.

Fibroid can create problem in conceiving and in pregnancy can cause bleeding.

So just now if no symptoms no need for worry.
