What Does My Blood Test Report Suggest?
My blood test report has following results as outside normal range RED CELL DISTRIBUTION WIDTH - SD(RDW-SD) 48 fL Vs, Normal range 39 - 46 fL RED CELL DISTRIBUTION WIDTH (RDW-CV) 14.7 % s, Normal range11.6-14% PLATELET DISTRIBUTION WIDTH(PDW) 15.7 fL s, Normal range9.6-15.2 fL What these signify?

Red cell distribution width (RDW) is a parameter which measures the variation in size of red blood cells.
Red blood cells are of uniform sizes but when RDW is high this signifies a variation in sizes of red blood cells.
In addition to RDW, I suggest you to post other RBC parameters like RBC count, hemoglobin, RBC indices - MCV, MCH and MCHC for better interpretation of RDW.
Similarly Platelet distribution width (PDW) is a parameter which measures the variation in sizes of platelets.
PDW increases when there is variation in sizes of platelets.
Variation in sizes of platelets is seen when variously sized platelets are present as seen in regenerating bone marrow or when there is rapid turn over of new platelets from the bone marrow.
Again PDW will be more informative if you post other parameters like platelet count, mean platelet volume (MPV).
