But the doctor in Indonesia told me, I just have to take parazetamol 650 3x per day and a dry coffeing for the throat. Everywhere in the internet you have to take Antibiotika what he especially didn t gave me. So what to do?
Hi & Welcome. Based on the given blood test report you seem to be suffering from typhoid fever. Beside Paracetamol you need to take effective antibiotics to eradicate this infection.
Definitive treatment of typhoid fever should be based on susceptibility of the bacteria to various antibiotics in a given geographical area like Indonesia.
However, a combination treatment with Ceftriaxone and Ciprofloxacin when neither the sensitivities nor the geographical origin of the bacteria is known is found to be effective.
It should be taken for at least 10-14 days under the supervision of a physician.
Hope this answers your query.
