Hi & Welcome. I can understand your concern. Normally there shouldn t be any pus cells in semen. The result is suggestive of infection. Infection may be due to UTI (urinary tract infection), Prostatitis, Orchitis (inflammation of the testes) etc. You need a course of appropriate antibiotics for infection after the culture & sensitivity test of the semen. You may need few more investigations like CBC, Ultrasound of pelvis, Trans rectal sonography of prostate if needed by your doctor. You should avoid tight underpants. Avoid cigarettes and alcohol if you take these things. Tab Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days may be required empirically before the availability of the culture results.
