What Does It Mean If Dark Spots Found On And Around Anus?

weeks ago i've felt some itching around my anus and it occurred twice both times when i was at the gym... and both times i had to go to the bathroom and wipe my anus with toilet paper to relieve itch. weeks after it did not itch anymore but i tried using sulfur soap which is supposedly anti fungal... i just wanted to be sure... several times i felt pain on my anus while soaping it... so i guess there were lesions, i only got to take a look at it today and found several dark spots around the anus and probably on the hole itself... it does not itch, or neither painful... but ive never seen those spots before (yes ive checked them before) what can those be?

Hello,

Looking to the symptom given here, in my opinion it could be due to some fungal infection or worm infestation.

If I would be the doctor of this case, then I would try to treat this case with Miconazole ointment for local application and tablet Mebendazole once a week for three weeks.

If the condition or the symptom does not improve, then you will have to see the doctor for better diagnosis because such case extremely demands the clinical examination.
