Hi. My blood results shows high level of serum b12..I m 32yr old.. Old Brest ca..had mastectomy..had sarcoma finished 6 months radiotherapy 2yrs ago..last week I had involontary movement of my eyelids..been to doctor ..blood test shows this..what that means? Please.
Hello and welcome to HCM, High levels of vitamin B 12 are seen in some disease states. Raised B 12 levels is seen in liver diseases, protein energy malnutrition and leukemias- acute and chronic. However, this does not imply that you are suffering from these diseases. A clinical correlation needs to be done to know the cause of raised B 12 levels.
