What Does Grey Stools With Foul Odor And High Temperature In Children Suggest?
3 yr old has light grey stool streaked with dark blue. It has a strong odor. She had a runny nose, sneezing, cough and elevated temp the day before the first grey BM. She recently resumed taking liquid vitamins tho they never affected her BM like this before.

Hi....by what you say and by the multi system involvement like cough and cold along with intestinal symptoms, I feel that it could be a viral illness.
Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
