What Does Discomfort In The Throat While Swallowing Indicate?
Hi, I have this feeling in my throat every now and again. It feels like I’m kinda swallowing my uvula/ uvula or something else like a hair or something sticking to the back of my throat. It doesn’t obstruct airways or cause any problems swallowing food or anything. Also isn’t sore or tender or hurt in anyway what so ever. Doesn’t cause me to gag or vomit. I’ve read about nasal drip but usually that feels like a tickle in my throat and makes me cough quite a bit till it’s gone. Also read about ulcers caused by my acid reflux. I seen pics of ulcers and from what I can see. I don’t have any. Curious as to what else will cause this nuisance
Many causes for difficulty in swallowing, possible causes are 1. Pharyngitis. 2. Tonsillitis. 3. Acid reflux. 4. Ulcers. 5. Uvulitis. Until the examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Nexpro l before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. If symptoms not improved, please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
