What Does Difficulty In Breathing And Chest Pain Indicate?

Hi! I think there is something wrong with my heart. It happens almost every day now and i am very concerned. What happens is my heart will beat normally but then all of the sudden out of no where it will skip a beat, and then it will beat almost painfully and very loud, skip a beat again, and then go back to normal. when this happens i also have a hard time breathing and my chest hurts for a while after words.

Hello,
What you are now experiencing is called irregular heart beat and felling of your own heart beat is called palpitation.
These both represent that you are suffering from Arrhythmia.
There are many causes for arrhythmia like coronary heart disease, electrolyte imbalance and it is also of many types.
Some times it can be normal.
As you have difficulty in breathing and chest pain, it is best to evaluate this irregular heart beat.
You need the following investigations to find the cause and for further management.
1. Electrocardiogram
2. Holter monitor
3. Stress test
4. Echocardiogram

Please do the above said investigation and consult a cardiologist.
