What Does Dark Vagina Imply If Body Is Fair?

Hi.I am 35 years old woman.my wait is near about 75.i have a problem that the colour of my vigina area is almost black then my other body parts.its not happen now.ifrom the start its same.my all over complexion is fair.i have no any kind of disease.just have lite fever often many years.

Vagina/vulva can be darker than the rest of the body. This is quite common and many women have it. Even some men have darker genitalia than rest of body.

There could be some contributing factors to cause the vulval skin to become more dark– use of any harsh soaps, use of talcum powder, using new hygiene creams in your vulval area, constant shaving, use of hair removal creams, wearing tight inner garments and trousers etc.

I am not sure how tall you are. If you are above 5 feet 8 inches, then your weight is normal for you. If your height is below 5 feet 8 inches, then you are overweight. Being overweight or obese also can cause a darker vagina/vulval skin.

Do you have darker armpit folds or neck folds? If yes, then you could be having Acanthosis nigricans. Kindly see your doctor for this.

In absence of any contributing factors, or not being overweight – having darker genital skin is normal.
