General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is just a hematoma. It is a collection of blood underneath your skin.

A detailed evaluation is required as you are on blood thinners already.

Consult your cardiologist and check your bleeding parameters (PT, APTT, bleeding time) and sometimes some adjustments in your routine drugs have to be made.

As of now, no definite treatment is required and it will settle by itself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
