What does an amylase blood test indicate and how are abdominal pains treated ?
hello there im getting really bad stomach pains in my right lower side i had a blood test and the doctor has wrote to me asking for me to go for another one as amylase was found so now gt to go for a gt and amylase blood test could you tell me what this is for please and how im can ease the pain many thanks

Along with the blood tests you should also get an ultrasound/CT scan of the abdomen done.You need to rule out appendicitis /gall bladder problems also.But a lot will depend on your physical examination and the medical history.To ease the pain,take tab voveran sos.
