What Does Absence Of Bleeding After Taking MTP Kit Indicate?

HI I am taken MTP kit orally 1 mifepristone 3rd morning After 24 hours, 2 tablets of Misoprostol 200mg each are taken orally and after 12 hours again 2 tablets of Misoprostol 200mg each are taken orally after 1 Misoprostol 600mg vaginally but no periods start should I wait more or go for DNC

I understand your concern
MTP kit should be used under the advise of the gynecologist after confirming the intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.
Absence of the period could be due to inadequate dose and improper application, ectopic pregnancy.
Normally bleeding will start after 30-45 minutes of using last pill.
Sometime period can be delayed by 24-48 hours.
If no bleeding will occur then consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination and USG scan to know the status of the pregnancy.
Pregnancy can be induce by the extra dose of misoprostol or by D & C.
USG should be done after the MTP kit use to confirm the complete process of abortion
Post abortion: rest for 48 hours, healthy diet with iron supplements, maintain proper pelvic hygiene
Use condom in future to prevent unwanted pregnancyHope this may help you
