Hi, You should take care of yourself . Rotator cuff are formed around shoulder joint ant plays important role in stability of shoulder joint . Shoulder joint are very unstable joint which is made stable through rotates cuff , ligaments ,muscle,....etc. Injury of rotator cuff can be managed depending upon the degree of tear(conservative / operative ).As you have underwent surgical repair you should take care of yourself . But recurrent injury at some level again can be managed according to injury(almost operative including shoulder replacement ) It seems your surgeon has reviewed you and accordingly advised you shoulder replacement .
