What Does A Pulling Sensation In Pubic Area During Early Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi, I had a tv ultrasound yesterday at 5-6 weeks and a sac was seen in the uterus but no yolk yet. My bloods measuring my HCG are rising as normal. I have an on off pulling pain on my lower right side near pubic bone, is this something to worry about?

Hi,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

It is good to note that you are pregnant and appears to be 5 - 6 weeks as indicated by the scan report.

Pulling pain what you are experiencing is quite normal and you need not
worry about it much. These are some of the sensations which you experience while the uterus starts to grow in size during pregnancy.

Next, you should get another scan done between 8 to 10 weeks to look for appearance of fetal pole (yolk sac) and may be by 10 to 12 weeks for the appearance of heat beat, which will confirm it to be a viable gestation.

Please have your antenatal checkups in time. Eat healthy food and keep yourself well hydrated.
All the best.
