What Does A Painful Itchy Bite Behind The Knee Indicate?
Can anyone tell me what kind of bite this is? I work at a indoor restaurant in Georgia and came home with this series of what looks like bites above and below the back of my knee. It s causing a quite deal of pain/ irritation and some burning. Benadryl Cream doesn t seem to help any. The spot on the back of the knee looks like mosquito Bites condensed together and a rash surrounding them. The spot on the back of my upper leg is larger and looks like it raises off my skin more. At a glance the bites look smaller than average mosquito bites with a surrounding rash but when I press down on the area it feels like one hard lump under my skin. All of This was not on my legs before I went into work. Anyone have ideas?
Your symptoms seem to be related to an insect bite. I suggest using anti histamines such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching. I also suggest using a Hydrocortisone cream for local application.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
